Job Description

  • Co-ordinate and produce management reporting for actuals in line with Controlling-internal and Accounting requirements.
  • Analyse and challenge key financials and value drivers and provide management with timely
  • You will assist, as instructed by the Senior FPR Analyst, on some of the accountabilities below. The mix of allocated accountabilities may change over time.
  • Provide a consolidated view of actuals for discussion with Management in explaining and interpreting key financial information. This will involve coordination of the monthly reporting framework and provide challenge to enable full understanding of the information.
  • Provide an in-depth view of the performance of the business in line with executive expectations.
  • Regular provision of reports concerning actuals, highlighting in particular main deviations against Business Plan targets including risks and opportunities and developing the narrative explanation.
  • Work closely with the planning and forecasting area of the team to ensure a consistency of approach and ensure we are joined up within the team and throughout the business.
  • Analyse and develop key financials and value drivers and provide management with timely and accurate information to enable decision-making.
  • Be able to provide cover to other areas of the team through understanding of the role of the whole team.
  • Further development of a robust system environment in order to process financial information as smoothly as possible.
  • Assist in the implementation, maintenance and further development of appropriate governance processes
  • Participation in analysis of ad hoc-requests the business
  • Timely preparation of reports with a high level of accuracy. Identify and understand key issues and variances, communicating them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure reporting processes are efficient, timely, meaningful and work for all stakeholders.
  • Receive positive feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Assist in understanding and improving the complex processes to prepare reports and communicate required outputs to wider Finance team.
  • Assist in interpreting requests for information from Executive team and undertake analysis to provide credible and timely responses.
  • Develop credible and professional working relationships with those within and external to Finance.

The Successful Applicant

You will be fully qualified, ideally from a larger company background and have a strong ability to influence at a senior level.
