Job Description

Reward Governance

  • Support the Head of Reward Governance with reward governance, ensuring that the Group's reward policies and processes are clearly defined with appropriate controls, decision rights are clearly understood and governance processes are fit for purpose
  • Support the Head of Reward Governance in relation to Board and Group Committees, setting agendas, preparation schedules, managing time lines and logistics, supporting the effective execution of the Remuneration Committee, Group Reward Plan Committee, Group P3 Risk and Control Committee and any other committees as necessary
  • Provide papers and contribute to the relevant committee's role in the proper governance of remuneration
  • Preparation of briefing materials for senior stakeholders including induction packs for new Committee members
  • Support the effective communication of the Group's policies and processes through Group communication channels including the Bridge, SharePoint and AskHR, ensuring documentation such as terms of reference, policies and guidelines are kept up to date
  • Support the development of governance maps, processes and guidance for all reward products
  • Support the development and maintenance of Group-wide conformance testing / monitoring / reporting to provide assurance that Group-wide policies and processes are being followed

Regulatory Reward

  • Support monitoring that the Group is compliant with regulatory requirements and external reporting requirements. This may include:
    • Supporting the interpretation of new or updated regulation and identifying the implications for the Group.
    • Ensuring colleagues in Greater China & North Asia, ASEAN & South Asia, Africa & Middle East and Europe & Americas are familiar with the regulatory requirements that apply Group-wide and driving consistency on how subsidiaries manage compensation and regulatory reporting.
    • Ensuring compliance with internal regulatory reporting and oversight processes (including internal tracking systems e.g. Detica and the Prudential Compliance Framework)
    • The preparation of regulatory reporting data tables
    • Supporting the identification of material risk takers for remuneration purposes processes.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a Reward Analyst with a banking or financial services background with an understanding of regulation such as CRD and its impact on pay.

You may also be from a consultancy firm working with Financial Services clients providing support on specialist Remuneration projects.
