About Our Client

Our client is a national Facilities Management service provider, focused on delivering exceptional customer service. They are looking for a Safety, Compliance and Environment Manager to join their professional team on a leading financial services institute contract based in West Sussex.

Job Description

Whilst supporting the Operational FM team, the successful individual will be responsible for the effective delivery of Safety, Compliance and Environmental matters for this corporate organisation over multiple sites. The specific duties include and are not limited to;

  • To professionally liaise with the Facilities Management Staff and Contractors, additionally, clients and senior stakeholders within the business to ensure the level of service exceeds expectations.
  • To maintain ISO 14001 and ISO18001 accreditation.
  • To implement regular auditing schedules on site to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Review CRC registration and all energy related aspects of the contract.
  • To carry out site risk assessments and fire safety compliance.
  • To develop the Business Continuity Plan and processes with regular revision and testing.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of a Health, Safety and Environmental operations and have worked in a corporate or similar environment. Have managed multiple corporate sites and successfully built client and customer relationships. The ideal candidate must be prepared to manage a national portfolio and have a full clean driving licence.

Additionally, the individual most possess

  • The NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
  • Qualification or experience in Environment Management.
  • Experience of purchasing policy and procedures, including energy purchase and CRC management.
