We are delighted to have been engaged by a world leader in personal care products to source their Director Consumer Insights & Product Management (m/f). They have a global reputation for focusing on high quality products and delivering on the needs of their customers, indeed, they are renowned for the market leading quality and service they deliver in the sector.

Job Description

  • Working with both external & internal groups to develop value added strategies that will highlight specific & unique propositions to the partners, drive incremental sales for them, and deliver improved partner and customer satisfaction
  • Responsible of monitoring technologies in the market place, tracking competitors’ retail strategies at all levels (from product to price & promotions) and understanding not only the market evolution but also the consumer declared gaps in their preferred brands
  • Deliver valuable consumer & shopper info to the EU team
  • Strategic management of shopper marketing, budget management, and participation in business case development
  • Manage the technical sales team (2 team members)
  • Asses the competitive landscape and assists in designing unique offerings that will drive incremental sales through unique products & value added services programs for the Partner Brands
  • Build strategic relationships across a number of functional teams, including Marketing, New Product & Business Development, and the retail sales team (private label & branded)

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Business Administration or Sales & Marketing
  • A marketing visionary, a rule breaker
  • Flexible, adapts to changing scenarios and manages complex high level situations successfully
  • Very sales oriented, enjoys the sale and manages his/her team around the strategic accounts defined by the customer development head
  • Highly motivated, autonomous, entrepreneurial spirit
  • An excellent communicator, is known for his/her charisma
  • A natural leader with strong interpersonal capabilities and highly convincing
  • A problem solver, does not fear ownership and uses the personal skills to trigger the company interest
  • Financial & analytical skills
  • Executive competence
  • Fluent written and spoken English, other EU languages highly desirable
