About Our Client

A distribution company home to a number of exciting and established brands, spanning across the electronics, toys and gaming, gifting and entertainment markets. They have been established for over 30 years and in this time have gained a fantastic reputation. Priding themselves on innovation this business are constantly working with supplier on product development and investing to ensure they are market leaders. Due to continued success they are now looking to add to their team an ambitious and driven Sales Director who will help to continue the growth of their top accounts.

Job Description

As Sales Director you will have full P&L responsibility and will be tasked with putting together strategic business plans to achieve the company's profit targets for 2016. As well as managing your sales team you will interact at all levels with members of the marketing team, brand managers, buyers and merchandisers in order to ensure sales targets are hit across all brands. This is a highly strategic position at a very exciting time for the company, with high growth expected over the next 5 years.

The Successful Applicant

My client is keen to consider individuals from a range of industry backgrounds, as long as they have a proven track record as a successful and results orientated Sales Director or Senior National Account Manager. It is essential that you have experience dealing with large National Accounts at a senior level and have an astute and thorough understanding of the current commercial climate. You must be dynamic, enthusiastic and able to exhibit passion for your position.

£60,000 - £75,000 DOE + full package.
