About Our Client
My client identified a huge opportunity and gap in the soft drinks market and has taken the initiative to make the most of this, hence needing a Sales Director to make things happen! They have a robust business plan, financial backing as well as category and marketing support you would not necessarily expect for a venture of this type. This is a one of a kind opportunity and the chance to really do something different.
The Sales Director will be responsible for opening and managing trading relationships with major retailers in the UK. The aim is to quickly grow the UK business and establish a full commercial and support team which this person will head up once operational. The premium drinks category is growing and this is a new brand and concept into the market space so this is a real opportunity to be part of something amazing!
The Successful Applicant
Calibre is everything for this Sales Director; as we are looking for someone who will eventually run the UK business you must be a cut above the rest! You will have a strong track record of progression and success to date in the FMCG industry, and ideally will have bluechip training.
Due to the start-up nature of this role it is important that the Sales Director has existing contacts in the soft drinks category in the Top 6 Grocery retailers. We would consider current high fliers in National Accounts in soft drinks or a Buyer who may want to move across into a sales role.
