Job Description

The Sales Engineer's primary responsibility will be to manage, develop and leverage existing relationships whilst identifying new business opportunities across London and the South East, maximising the area sales turnover.

Further responsibilities include:-

  • Preparing reports with market and sales forecasts to ensure accurate planning.
  • Working with a number of various stakeholders at different levels, providing the right solutions based on their needs in a consultative manner.
  • Prospecting new clients who may benefit from ProMinent's products or services.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to secure orders and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Having a clear understanding of competitors activities and staying abreast of any local competition.
  • Working towards agreed budgets in line with corporate objectives.
  • Attending trade shows and conferences both nationally and internationally.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Sales Engineer will:-

  • Be degree educated preferably in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferably have sales experience within the Water Treatment/Chemical and Process Control Industry or sales experience selling a technical product/service.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Be a self starter, enthusiastic and innovative team player.
  • Be able to travel across London and the South East regularly.
  • Be a strong influencer with exceptional customer service skills

What's on Offer

Basic Salary £40,000- £45,000 dependant upon experience
