Job Description

The primary focus of the sales executive is to communicate with customers in a supportive and effective manner in order to facilitate their conversation from enquiry to a consultation, test or procedure.

Accountabilities include:

  • Effective handling of self-pay enquiries from phone call, emails, and face to face meetings with prospective patients.
  • To convert self-pay enquiries into out-patient appointments or procedures in order to meet monthly conversion rate targets as well as revenue and admissions targets.
  • To utilise outstanding sales and customer service skills in order to maximise opportunities.
  • Develop knowledge of our client's USPs in order to confidently sell against competition
  • To promote and book patients to consultation events organised by the BD team. To attend events and liase with patients to convert into bookings.
  • Comply to company policies and procedures.
  • Confidently use CRM system to robustly manage enquiry leads.

The Successful Applicant

You ideally come from a healthcare, hospitality, leisure, insurance or property sales background. You will have sound experience, a proven track record and be looking for an exciting opportunity to develop further. You will be customer focused and had success in a role where it's imperative to truly understand the needs of your customers in order to effectively assist them and maximise opportunity, understanding your impact on the commercial success of the company and the potential your role has to make an impact. You will be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time whilst prioritising in order to meet targets.

Your communication skills will be unquestionable, not only with customers but with your surrounding team. You will naturally and easily build rapport and show empathy whilst concurrently taking ownership of the enquiry and patient journey. Furthermore, the ability to convey technical/procedural information in a clear and understandable manner is a requirement.

Key core requirements:

  • Experience and proven success within a reactive sales role, handling a large number of enquiries and meeting targets
  • Sound numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to calculate procedure prices.
  • Excellent phone manner.
  • Detail orientated and analytical mindset; able to ascertain fact, problem solve and seek answers.
  • A strong understanding of Private Healthcare
  • A proactive approach to working, able to take on responsibility and personal development

£23,000 basic with an achievable bonus of 15%
