My client is responsible for the creation and supply of an industry leading, highly accurate safety critical devises. Working alongside partners such as R&D institutes, they are building upon that success and adding new technologies to our portfolio.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be looking for a demanding challenge to help make a difference to the companies sales team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, friendly team, growing at a pace, especially for a candidate who is looking to further their sales career. The individual should also possess a strong entrepreneurial and have a commercial bias.

The role will involve in the first instance; new business development across a European focus. Countries of interest are: Germany, Holland, France and the UK. The Sales Manager will need to be traveling 50% of the the time in the first year.

The Sales Manager will be covering Europe and selling a range of high end innovative Instruments with a high level of software wrap around. The product is high value and safety critical within the petrochemical environment.

The routes to market will be varied and a mix of channel and direct customer development will be required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales
  • Proven track record as a Sales Manager
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in related subject
  • Experience in process engineering, chemical engineering or petroleum engineering is an advantage
  • Fluency in English as well as other European languages (German/French/Spanish) will be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry
  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly
  • Enterprise software sales experience will be of interest.
