About Our Client

Our client is a leading global automotive aftermarket specialist - supplying replacement parts for trucks, trailers, buses and vans across the globe under a number of respected industry leading brand names. With a turnover of 4 billion USD and with exponential growth within the European market a sales manager covering the UK and Ireland is required to support the growth of their aftermarket business.

Job Description

They are looking to grow their organisation by hiring a qualified and established Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland.

As a Country Sales Manager you will be required to manage and strengthen the UK/Ireland sales teams with responsibility for sales plans, forecasts and budgets. The Sales Manager will need to possess the ability to identify new opportunities with the aftermarket parts and services market.

Managing and developing current accounts whilst having responsibility for new business, 70% of this role will be based on the road establishing strategic relationships within all functional areas of new and existing customers.

Working as a team but also autonomously is an essential quality in order to create key relationships internally and externally liaising with technical departments with all customers, In order to implement parts service policies and generate documentation to satisfy all concerned.

The Successful Applicant

The Key Requirements for the Sales Manager - UK & Ireland

  1. Commercial Vehicle industry professional with a proven sales record towards the IAM channel (e.g. all makes - parts, programs, brakes, friction)
  2. Minimum of 5 years within the Automotive Aftermarket
  3. Creative and strategic - ideas driven individual
  4. High degree of flexibility, independency and mobility
  5. Strong in acquisition and negotiation
