We are working with our client on an exclusive basis.

They are an established provider of Technical Sustainable solutions to a blue chip customer base.

Based in Bristol they are easy access for the local transport system as far out as Wiltshire and Somerset.

Job Description

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following.

  • Deliver sales target at requisite profit levels;
  • Sponsor key client relationships with the day-to-day account managers, ensuring we meet and exceed their expectations;
  • Develop winning sales and marketing strategy and campaigns targeting key client groups;
  • Develop and manage external partners as sales channels in order to generate sales leads;
  • Maintain regular contact and develop strong working relationships with existing clients
  • Manage the team to deliver their individual and collective targets;
  • Oversee the development of each member of the team
  • Work closely with senior staff members and colleagues within the business area to ensure projects are delivered to high quality;
  • Ensure high levels of customer and supplier satisfaction;
  • Liaise with directors and senior managers to develop a winning strategy.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs and devise commission structures
  • Develop an excellent understanding of the product value proposition, collate customer feedback and suggest product improvements accordingly to further develop existing, new and expanding markets.
  • Reporting, record keeping and continuous improvement - submit a monthly sales forecast, reporting major new opportunities and threats and analysing lost opportunities, maintain records of all sales activities, identify opportunities to improve business performance and processes and customer satisfaction

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • An energy/environment/construction background preferably with a related Bachelor's Degree as desirable, although demonstration of sales management skills/experience and the capacity to quickly absorb technical concepts will be considered more important than a technical academic background.

Relevant experience required:

  • Growing and managing multi-million pound sales functions;
  • Track record in selling energy conservation measures including Lighting Solutions and LED lighting products to various markets a mid-to-senior-level;
  • Client and account management of energy conservation measures;
  • Contract management;
  • Experience of leading and developing a high performing sales team

What's on Offer

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £55,000 plus bonus
