About Our Client

Our client is a British company who provides healthy snacks to consumers. They are sold in many large retailers and smaller health stores. Our clients turnover grew by 70% in 2014-15 and is on track to grow a further 60% 2015-16. They are a growing business and have been in the market for just under ten years.

Job Description

The Buckinghamshire Senior Brand Manager will have a hands on approach to ll aspects of the brand including developing marketing strategies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop the UK brand plans with a short and long term focus.
  • Manage the implementation and optimisation of brand activity that supports the overarching brand strategy.
  • Day to day brand and product management. Ambassador for the brand and key contact for the brand both internally and externally.
  • Champion communications plans for PR, Social Media and sponsorship activity working closely with our external agencies to develop campaigns and utilise brand ambassadors to generate buzz for the brand.
  • Manage in conjunction with the Marketing Director, the delivery of integrated consumer ATL & BTL campaigns with meticulous attention to detail on time and to budget. This will involve managing multiple agencies to deliver a coherent and integrated brand campaigns.
  • Develop creative and media briefs and be key contact for agency liaison.
  • Budget monitoring and monthly reporting.
  • Manage digital programme and multiple agencies to support the growth of our company E-commerce website, including SEO, Email marketing, PPC and other online advertising.
  • Oversee E-commerce promotional plan for company website, manage website development projects and regularly update and maintain content via the CMS.
  • Responsible for measuring, monitoring and reporting the success of marketing activities, providing recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Co-ordinate events plan which includes consumer and attend shows and interact with customers.
  • Contribute to, and assist in, the execution of NPD - from concept through to delivery of final artwork and marketing materials.
  • Develop packaging and brand communication materials.
  • Brand guardian for UK and international markets ensuring brand consistency is maintained across packaging and marketing communications.
  • Creating monthly / quarterly marketing reports for internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will ideally have come from a FMCG consumer brand marketing background. The candidate will be accustomed to working in a fast paced environment and be a self-starter. Previous work with managing agencies would be ideal, but not essential.
