About Our Client

Our client is a well known FMCG business based in Hertfordshire with some key brands that generate high revenue for the organisation. The business specialises in the food sector has around 2,500 people employed worldwide, with growth plans for the future. They are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join their team as part of their strategic plans.

Job Description

The Hertfordshire based Senior Brand Manager will have a hands on approach to all aspects of the brands.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development of the Brand Plan from start to execution of key brand activities
  • Provide market and consumer insight that shapes forward plans and guides execution
  • Ownership of brand consumer spend management, ensuring timely reporting, tracking supplier payment and post activity evaluation
  • Lead the overall tracking and reporting of brand performance i.e. financial, customer and market, and supporting the development of action planning as an output of the findings
  • Joint development and delivery of brand activation plans and support materials
  • Lead the identification and implementation of F4G/Cost Based Recovery initiatives
  • Responsible for the full NPD funnel from concept to project launch
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver against NPD, product and pack changes and other projects to deliver to time, budget, quality and milestones
  • Define and manage product portfolio and price positioning to maximize the opportunity in each market
  • A champion of the International agenda, developing understanding and commitment from key stakeholders



This role will also involve some travel to international countries.





The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will ideally have come from an FMCG background, ideally in food. A proven record of leading teams to deliver successful business or marketing projects. Evidence of leading the development of new products, brand plans, packaging design changes and store based activation. Budget management, including monitoring and reporting. Ability to leverage insight and data to build market and consumer understanding and build insight into strategy. Second language would be desirable.

What's on Offer

The Senior Brand Manager will expect a basic salary of £45K- £50K depending on skills set. Other benefits include pension, car allowance and 25 days holiday.
