Job Description

Your role as Senior Brand Manager will be to support the drive for a £50m food brand in three years, focusing on a specific portfolio within the main brand.

To deliver the sales and profit objectives for that portfolio.

To define and implement the growth strategy for that portfolio in the short and medium term (3 years), through the brand planning and brand management processes.

The key elements to this objective are:

  • A deep consumer AND commercial understanding of brand performance, including continuous and ad hoc research, measurement and reporting;
  • Development of brand strategies and tactics aligned to the business' core principles, and rooted in tailoring the offer to specific channels and customers;
  • Creation and development of new and existing product development, from concept to launch;
  • Leading innovation projects, where this is aligned to the overall business strategy;
  • Development of marketing mix for the portfolio in conjunction with the central brand teams and commercial team
  • Supporting the wider commercial team as required to achieve business objectives
  • Contribution to brand, communications and shopper marketing strategy
  • To develop and manage external agency relationships where required
