My client is a market leading global manufacturing organisation, employing over ten thousand people worldwide. The Senior Business Analyst will be based in their Bradford Offices. Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Full ownership for the accuracy of the P&L and/or Balance Sheet, including:
    • Month end accounting close
    • Preparation & Distribution of monthly management accounts
    • Account reconciliations
    • Variance analysis and commentary
    • Timely and insightful reporting for the business
    • Planning and forecasting
  • Identify improved ways of working, processes and business metrics that will drive profitable growth and/or increased efficiencies.
  • Use analytics as well as other means to build compelling business cases supported by sound assumptions.
  • Influence your Finance Manager and key business partners.
  • Develop and communicate analysis and compelling business cases in a well thought out and straight-forward manner that can be easily understood by non-financially oriented business partners.
  • Provide advice and coaching to business partners on all things Financial:
    • Develop a high degree of credibility with business partners
    • Delivering training to managers to aid financial acumen
    • Provide challenge to enhance the quality of the decision support
    • Make performance analysis easily understood and actionable
    • Manage internal customers regarding planning and forecasting quality

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with relevant business partnering experience. You will have excellent communication and IT skills. You need to have good accounting knowledge and credibility.
