About Our Client

Valueworks builds, maintains and sells a collaborative software as a service platform for property owners and their maintenance and material suppliers. It helps both landlords and suppliers control the management of their repairs, maintenance and compliance works. The platform helps them gain more control over the costs and quality of their maintenance works and ensures they and their suppliers avoid costly commercial disputes due to a misalignment of expectations. The data captured by the platform enables landlords to track and demonstrate Value for Money to their regulatory the HCA.

Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, lead and referral follow up, needs analysis, pipeline development through to closing contractual agreements.
  • Attending customer meetings and managing your own diary effectively.
  • Creating compelling business cases for potential clients
  • Forecast submission.
  • Contributing to creation, maintenance and implementation of all business development standard operating procedures and other agreed processes.
  • Maintaining all administrative requirements on the CRM system.
  • Preparing for, and attending internal meetings with their line manager.
  • Undertaking any other responsibilities that may be required by their line manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hitting quarterly sales revenue target.
  • Maintaining four quarter rolling pipeline sufficient to hit quarterly targets.
  • Fulfilling administrative requirements on time and in full.
  • Customer relationship management

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Business Development Manager will be required to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Minimum 4 years B2B Software Sales experience, mainly new business in a target driven environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of which to be multi-point field based experience.
  • Full sales life-cycle experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of solution based selling essential.
  • SaaS, Software experience required.
  • Driven and ambitious.
  • Proven ability of working to, and achieving set targets.
  • Able to proactively manage their own workload effectively.
