Job Description


  • Oversee the recruitment, retention and motivation of employees in order to develop committed, high performance, client-focused teams;
  • Ensure the effective co-ordination of services with other teams within the department and across Management Services;
  • Oversee relationships with clients and with external suppliers;
  • Work with the Director and other Associate Directors of Client Accounts in preparing, developing and delivering the business plan to service internal and external clients;
  • Adhere to and promote internal performance standards as set out in the Total Performance Management guidelines.
  • Develop, implement and enhance service-level strategies and standards for internal and external clients;
  • Ensure both Company and legislative procedures and controls are adhered to and that all statutory and tax requirements for clients are satisfied;
  • Support surveying teams in tenders for work and the pricing of instructions and actively assist in winning new business.

The Successful Applicant


  • Strong people management, communications and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to build team relationships and interact effectively with team members and colleagues;
  • Recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with circa four years post qualification experience or substantial accounting and/or management operations experience;
  • Large accounting operations background ideally from within a client/property context would be advantageous;
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required and knowledge of TRAMPS and/or APB would be advantageous;
  • Ability to manage and develop client relationships (internal and external) and provide excellent customer service;
  • Must be flexible and able to work under pressure.
