Job Description

The Senior Contracts Officer for this public sector organisation in Worcestershire will be responsible for:

- Manage and carry out tendering, contracting and formal procurement exercises of high value in accordance with OJEU.

- Manage the contract monitoring process, using agreed Key Performance Indicators as the means of measuring performance.

- Develop and contribute to internal and external relationships, including working in collaboration with other organisations and key partners.

- Provide timely and accurate technical and professional strategic sourcing, competitive procurement and contract management advice and information to customers, staff and contractors using appropriate communication methods.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Senior Contracts Officer for this public sector organisation in Worcestershire would demonstrate the following core competencies:

- Extensive experience working in a Procurement environment.

- Experience in the management of European (OJEU) tendering procedures.

- Knowledge of procurement regulations and their application to public sector organisations.

- Qualified to CIPS level 3 or equivalent

- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
