Job Description

  • Supports the Digital Programme Manager with the delivery of Digital Programme, which represents a £40 million investment
  • Manages the end to end requirement gathering and testing delivery plans (with inputs from Domestic change, IBM, RWE GBS, NWOW and CTP), assigning Digital Business Analyst resource, managing dependencies and ensuring the most suitable analysis methodology for the change is utilised.
  • Influence the scope of wide projects to drive Digital requirements and scope improvements to increase the adoption of Digital technology across the company.
  • Support the Digital Programme Manager with element of all projects ensuring that all impact assessments and functional & technical specifications and test specifications support the accurate resource and effort required
  • Lead and Input, as requested into all Testing Reporting on a project by project basis. Ensuring that resource is available to support all test and warranty activities. Influence decision making to secure deployments and release for defect fixing, during testing phases
  • Represent the Digital Programme and Digital Programme Manager at senior Programme and Governance boards as and when required as immediate DoA
  • Line manage and support the personal development of Digital Business Analysts up to 3 permanent employees and support up to10 contract Business Analysts/ Testers
  • Leadership of cross divisional virtual teams

The Successful Applicant

  1. Strategic: establishing and implementing Digital strategic business(functional and non-functional) requirements from all segments through testing and go-live (High Complexity)
  2. Business Planning: work closely across the business, third party supplier, architecture, UX, development and testing teams to ensure the solution delivers the agreed upon project requirements and meet the client's expectations (High Complexity)
  3. Commercial Input: Drive the prioritisation of resource and activity to deliver business objectives. Drive the prioritisation of defect fixing using business impacts and benefits to understand criticality (Medium Complexity)
  4. Compliance: Ensure all requirements support compliance interfaces with company secretariat, IS security, legal, regulatory, audit and data teams to define online compliance requirements and agree any gaps and actions (medium complexity)
  5. Communication: Full ability to tune communication methods and medium depending upon the audience and use of understanding of key influencing factors across the segments to understand where Digital can contribute, translating these into defined requirements (High Complexity)
  6. Relationships: Strong collaboration with departments across the organisationto drive the growth of Digital in their distinctive areas and more broadly within and partner organisations. (High Complexity)

It would be HIGHLY beneficial if you have worked before on an enterprise level website with high volume traffic before
