Top tier Insurance firm who specialises predominantly in Life and GI Insurance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Lead the review and challenge of group reported results and disclosures

  • Continuous process and systems improvement involving external reporting procedures, working with key stakeholders.

  • Prepare and review Board, Audit and Disclosure committee papers, and oversee committee distributions

  • Act as first point of contact for the external auditors, board members and investors

  • Oversee administration of the group's External Auditor and Financial Reporting Business Standards
  • Deputise for the group head where necessary helping to support and manage group reporting requirements.
  • Operational management including coaching and mentoring of more junior team members

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidates will thrive in an environment where they will have multiple deliverables coinciding.

Candidates who are at the senior manager lever within a big 4 practise with FS/Insurance clients are highly desirable.

Candidates who have trained in practise and are currently working within a Bank or Insurance firm within group finance and strong track record in external reporting and commentary writing will also be favoured.

ACA/ACCA qualification is a must.
