Job Description

Produce initial drafts of the group consolidation for year end and interim accounts, and produce and update the final financial statements and regulatory accounts.

Calculate corporate balances, including pensions charge and deficit, insurance prepayments and accruals and interest projections.

Assist in balance sheet review planning and follow up.

Prepare and analyse the group's debt position, including forex and hedge accounting, revaluing to market and hedge effectiveness testing.

Undertake bookkeeping for the Corporate Business Units, including preparation of accounts for board signing, debt and bank reports and covenant workings.

Analyse movements in the Regulated Asset Base and report renewals and enhancement expenditure, revaluation and impairment within the access charges review framework.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must be:

A qualified accountant

Have experience assisting in, creating or auditing a set of accounts for a large organisation with a turn over of £500 million +
