From a UK perspective they now have a presence in every single Boots store and continue to rapidly expand. As a brand they have many well-known ambassadors, including celebrities, sports personalities and have even partnered with Team GB for the Olympics.

Job Description

  • Manage Finance function for UK entities including month end, account reconciliations, and expense reconciliations
  • Development of P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow reporting
  • Develop/maintain robust policies and procedures to manage finance system integrity and reporting
  • Preparation of expected monthly cash inflows and outflows
  • Managing the annual audit for international entities
  • Review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaising with international tax and other advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting per statutory requirements
  • Managing the International intercompany process including employee reimbursements
    • Reconciliation of FX adjustments for intercompany balances
    • Working with the Australian finance team to reconcile employee expenses through Concur system
    • Ensuring expenses incurred by employees are in line with company policies
    • Entering expenses into accounting systems
    • Management of international supply reconciliations:
          • Ensuring external parties are invoiced for goods in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with local tax and invoicing guidelines
          • Reconciling PGT statements and ensuring compliance with agreements
          • Maintenance of COGS/ pricing files
          • Attending to the PGT inbox
          • Following up overdue accounts
          • Calculating Royalties receivable on a monthly basis
          • Creating payments in the business's online banking platform
        • Managing international accounts payable process with tasks including but not limited to:
          • Entering supplier invoices
          • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
          • Creating payments in the business's online banking platform
        • Assisting the finance team with filing and other ad hoc administrative tasks
          • Support the Supply team with ad hoc analysis requests to support their decision making and the potential impacts of such decisions
          • Contribute financial support and analysis to key business and systems initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Tertiary and CPA/CA qualified
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures
  • Previous experience with managing a team
  • Knowledge of relevant International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Knowledge of taxation legislation (local)
  • Demonstrated intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel including the use of formulas and functions
  • Ability to use initiative, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills: written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Knowledge of financial service processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
  • Flexibility, ability and initiative to work within a continuous improvement environment

What's on Offer

Full Time Position, £55,000.
