Job Description

  • Support the Head of Human Resources by providing input to the people strategy, with specific focus on the following initiatives: learning and development, performance management, employee relations, internship and work schemes and cultural/engagement projects (Barratt Values Survey).
  • Supporting employees through the annual performance management process including objective setting, bi-annual performance reviews and the use of online performance evaluators
  • Maintain and develop further OMGI's Learning and Development agenda, specifically by undertaking the annual TNA and delivering initiatives in line with this process and the cultural agenda
  • Develop and sustain strong business relationships with key stakeholders to become a trusted advisor
  • Providing advice on all HR issues by coaching employees to develop practical solutions whilst reducing risk, specifically with regards to employee relations and performance issues
  • Maintain and develop further the annual Internship programme alongside other potential CSR initiatives including Apprenticeships and Work schemes
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's Cultural Agenda; work with the other arm of the business to deliver the Barratt Values Survey followed by close liaison with the company's Cultural Lead, to feedback results and deliver appropriate initiatives.
  • Work effectively with managers to scope resourcing requirements whilst maintaining relationships with preferred suppliers and undertaking successful selection procedures to secure appropriate candidates.
  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating company HR policies and procedures to ensure integrity and compliance with current legislation and best practice

  • Exposure to website design prefered
  • CIPD qualification preferred
