About Our Client

The client is a rapidly growing organisation with multiple sites across the UK and a Head Office in York. With exciting growth plans in place they are looking for an Senior Management Accountant to join their busy and expanding Finance team and work closely with the Financial Controller.

Job Description

The key purpose of this role is to ensure that accurate financial records are maintained, transactions are processed promptly and accurately, and information is provided to the business on time.

Responsibilities will include;

Preparation of monthly financial information

VAT returns

Reviewing payroll and supplier BACS payments

Assist with cash flow forecasting

Assist in annual budget update

Assist in annual audit, statutory financial statements and coordinate corporation tax returns for the multiple companies within the group including consolidation

Assist in ad-hoc projects as required

Support the FC in identifying and sponsoring new business opportunities

The Successful Applicant

Qualified Accountant

Good knowledge of Excel

Confident communicator

Strong attention to detail

Multi-group consolidation experience would be advantageous

Staff management and development experience

Private equity stakeholder experience
