Senior Marketing Manager - A Unique Accountancy Software Business

Key responsibilities:

  • Line management of one marketing colleague and currently two business development staff
  • Manage and co-­ordinate all marketing activity across digital channels for the business and other group companies and brands, including web, PPC, email marketing, online advertising, social media and PR
  • Take responsibility for the company's engagement strategies to increase the number of relevant inbound leads
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products within a marketing calendar
  • Collaborate with business development staff to deliver the best possible conversion rates
  • Liaise with and manage third party agencies who will provide marketing, creative or technical support.
  • Research and write copy, particularly blogs and campaign content, for Intouch website and third party sites
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity
  • Provide analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Determine and manage the marketing budget
  • Deliver marketing activity within the agreed budget
  • Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
  • Monitor industry best practices
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects.

As well as these regular responsibilities you will have opportunity to progress in specialist projects.

The Successful Applicant

Experience and skills:

  • Business or marketing-­related degree or equivalent professional qualification is essential
  • Previous line management experience is essential
  • Experience in all aspects of developing, managing and delivering marketing strategies
  • Technical marketing skills
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Experience utilising CMS, email marketing systems, CRM and Google Analytics is essential
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

What's on Offer

A salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum + package.
