Job Description

The company is looking for an experienced senior marketing manager / Director to drive all facets of their corporate marketing with an emphasis on lead generation and new market penetration.

This is a newly created role for a senior marketer as the business recognizes that this position is going to be an integral part of their growth plans.

Managing a small, dynamic team, you will have in-depth knowledge of a range of marketing approaches, with experience in developing and executing marketing plans, content planning and delivery, marketing automation, PR, digital marketing and traditional communications.

The Successful Applicant

Essential skills and strengths:

  • Minimum 5 years B2B software marketing experience
  • Able to grasp complex concepts quickly and explain them simply
  • Experience of writing data sheets, case studies, white papers press releases and blogs with an inherent technical level of content, but in such a way that the value proposition is clear and understandable by the layman
  • Experience of 'one to many' programmes
  • Ability to define a business case with a realistic ROI for campaigns
  • Experience working with partner organisation's marketing teams
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Takes ownership and responsibility , shows initiatives and makes decisions
  • Comfortable working in a small but growing organisation
  • Proven track record of delivering programmes/campaigns on time, to budget and against objectives
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering against key performance indicators
  • Ability to manage multiple programmes/campaigns
  • Flexible and adaptive to business demands
  • Experience managing both Marketing strategy and budget
  • Familiar with developing and managing lead generation activities, advertising/branding, marketing product launches, direct marketing, online marketing, website ownership/development, search engine optimization, event management and all marketing communication channels

Desirable skills and strengths:

  • Experience using with a range of integrated automation tools (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Copywriting skills / experience
  • Knowledge of marketing requirements and trends within Higher Education, NHS, Construction, Housing or Food & Drink Manufacturing
  • Degree educated
  • CIM qualification

What's on Offer

There is a competitive package available between £50k- £70k
