Established in the 1970's, my client is part of a large organisation prominent in manufacturing building materials nationally. Based in East Anglia, they have seen double digit growth over the last 3 years with plans to double the size of the business by 2017. Their major clients include builders merchants and DIY retailers.

Job Description

Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director the Senior National Account Manager - DIY will manage a multi million portfolio combining builders merchants and DIY retailers. You will create and run the strategic piece for the business. The role is home based but will require candidates travelling nationally and a minimum one day per week into the office in East Anglia.

The Successful Applicant

The Senior National Account Manager will have the following skills and attributes:

  • National Accounts experience either from DIY, Building Trade, FMCG or Consumer Durable channel
  • Based in the Midlands
  • Examples and experience of managing JBP's and a multi-million P&L
  • Strategic
