Job Description

Working within a dedicated team of analysts responsible for driving forward the use of data in regulatory decisions that will cover the following areas - capital, liquidity, credit risk, governance, operational resilience, and recovery and resolution

Conducting and presenting deep dive, forward looking thematics, based primarily on regulatory data, which highlight trends across a number of clients

Providing support on quantitative modelling work, to analyse data, develop modelling tools and produce analytical reports

Maintaining analytical tools (on Loan Book Data, Product Sales Data) and using the data systems to extract data efficiently.

Feeding analysis and briefings into management meetings and to the senior board

Keeping abreast of market and policy developments, and being able to apply this knowledge to the assessment of risk

The Successful Applicant

Track record in financial services - ideally in retail, commercial or wholesale banking

Experience working in a risk related business - ideally in credit or regulatory risk

Strong analytical skills, in particular the ability to analyse and distil complex and vast quantities of information from a range of sources

Strong IT skills - experience of using Excel VBA, Matlab, SQL or other mathematical/statistical packages would be desirable, as well as Tableau.

Ability to develop innovative ways of presenting information to ensure key messages can be easily determined and to drive through change.
