Job Description

The Mergers & Acquisitions team offer a full spectrum of advisory sell-side services, often working with private equity backed businesses, public companies and entrepreneurs amongst their varied client portfolio.

The team also assist private equity firms and corporate development teams to source acquisition opportunities, with services that include identifying key strategic buyers, negotiation to maintain competitive tension between potential buyers, general project management and deal execution.
Their buy-side advisory services include identifying and analysing targets, providing guidance on valuation and negotiation of terms. Further leveraging the businesses extensive global network and relationships the M&A team source deals involving both companies based in the UK and abroad.

Through growth and heightened activity within the client portfolio, the business is recruiting for a Senior Manager to join the team at this exciting period, where you will be responsible for assisting Partners in servicing clients, directing tax services and managing people within the tax department. A significant part of the role will be developing new business and managing existing clients.

Responsibilities;
Point of contact within the firm for the client portfolio and manage the portfolio
Tax planning and complex tax issues
Consult clients on ad hoc projects
Manage assignments and their completion within agreed budgets
Ensure the Firms quality control procedures are adhered to including second partner review
Review and delivery of final advice to clients
Identify risk and technical matters
