Job Description

Following a recent programme of work to implement a new cloud based Finance and HR solution (SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba and Concur), a brand new position has become available within an iconic business in Manchester for a Service Delivery Manager.

You will be the primary interface between it, the business and 3rd party suppliers to support the new solution. You will provide operational supplier performance management of the application service partner to ensure contractual obligations are understood and fulfilled, drive service improvements, maximise supplier performance and raise any service risks.

As part of your role, you will oversee any changes to the applications, working closely with the business to capture requirements and deliver new initiatives, engaging with Service Design and Service Transition teams

It will be your responsibility to conduct regular service reviews with the supplier, provide KPI and dashboard reporting, create continual service improvement plan and take a proactive approach to reducing incident and problem management.

The Successful Applicant

  • A strong Service Management background, with a solid track record of managing suppliers to deliver application services (HR, Finance, Procurement systems and preferably SaaS)
  • Experience of working in a SAP environment; a track record of launching a new service and developing it.
  • Deep knowledge of ITIL principles including incident, change, release, problem, service design, service transition and continual service improvement
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills at all levels in the business, with the ability to listen, influence and to empathise with customers.
  • Performance driven with sound commercial acumen.
  • ITIL v3 Certified
