Job Description


  • Develop and deliver the IT Service Delivery and Management processes, and develop, deliver and maintain the IT Service Catalogue.
  • Liaise with key IT stakeholders to define and agree service strategies, including service level targets for the portfolio of services they own.
  • Responsible for IT processes, policies and procedures based on ITIL or similar best practice; including creation, management and governance.


  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT services, ensuring they are delivered to meet current and future Business needs.
  • Work with other key IT stakeholders to set and manage realistic Business expectations of IT services.
  • Leadership of major incident recovery management.

Service Reviews

  • Facilitate supplier and internal IT service reviews, in conjunction with aligned IT Platform Teams, to safeguard delivery of IT services within agreed SLA's.
  • Identify potential service improvement opportunities and work proactively with key IT stakeholders to action them.

The Successful Applicant

What we're looking for:

  • 3 years + Management of Service Teams
  • Strong understanding of IT service, service levels and service level management processes.
  • Relationship management skills and the ability to influence with different levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and drive prioritisation of own team's work to meet prioritised business needs.
  • Individual and Team Performance Management frameworks and goal setting.
  • Experience of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) implementation.
  • Ability to handle 1st and 2nd line calls when required
  • Highly technically literate, in particular a working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic hardware configuration
