About Our Client

My client is a leading Charity, due to continued growth they are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join their established support function in Bristol on an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

Job Description

The successful Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Answering all service desk support requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Logging all phone calls, voicemails and emails into the service desk system
  • Owning all issues logged from initial conversation through to resolution, ensuring the internal customer is kept informed of any developments
  • Providing 1st & 2nd line support to all customer queries
  • Analysing service desk performance and suggesting areas for improvement where appropriate
  • Maintaining up to date information and documentation
  • Analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff technical issues

The Successful Applicant

The successful Service Desk Analyst will possess:

  • Demonstrable experience in a service desk environment, ideally supporting software/applications
  • Patience and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical language for non-technical people
  • Sound IT skills and experience of a range of software packages
  • Analytical mind and strong problem solving abilities
  • Strong work ethic
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
