About Our Client
Our client is a global success with a long heritage. In recent years, they have propelled there brand into additional food categories which has seen a significant rise in sales and profit.
The vast amount of their manufacturing is done in the UK. They distribute to Europe and the US currently, with plans to break in to the Far East market in the near future.
2017 will see a complete re-launch of their brand, hence why they are seeking to strengthen the team with this role.
The purpose of the Shopper Category Manager will be to combine both category intelligence with in-store marketing and activity.
You will spearhead the approach in identifying the trends and building that into the Shopper strategy. This will then allow you to work with the various retailers, collaboratively compile a Brand Activation plan to launch the products in-store and maximise ROI.
The role is commutable from Leeds, York and Darlington.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a full FMCG background. You will be experienced working with brands and will be established in Category Management - proficient in a variety of main data sources such as Kantar, Neilsen and IRI.
Given the nature of this role, it will be advantageous for you to have a full mix marketing background - including elements such as Brand Management.
