Job Description

We are seeking a hard working team player with the ability to work at a strategic level but someone who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in where necessary. Good presentation skills are a must for this role.

  • As the SMM you'll build solid and long lasting relationships with retailers and their media agency partners, identify and develop contacts, and cultivate relationships at all levels.
  • Build up a knowledge of retail media success factors as a basis to drive additional business opportunities with clients.
  • Collaborate with all experts and account teams to develop tailored solutions that meet clients' needs and business goals in all retail channels.
  • Gain an understanding from retailers of individual priorities to help deliver first-class activation solutions and services.
  • Help coordinate the set-up and execution of the client's retail activation programs.
  • Work with the internal account teams to monitor and analyze the performance of specific activities across retailer formats and categories and share results and learnings with the wider internal teams.
  • Build up retail and shopper market intelligence, best practices and operational activation learnings.

The Successful Applicant

You'll be responsible for ensuring the agency has best in class understanding across all retail channels including Grocery, Convenience, Wholesale and Online, whilst assisting the internal teams in recommending realistic and actionable retailer activation strategies for multiple client accounts. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing accurate up to the minute retailer insight is key. To do this, the SMM will need to have a deep understanding of Retailers, their technical and operational capabilities, gained from previous work experience ideally retailer/client side.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of sales and marketing coupled with real experience of working for a fast paced multi-site retail organisation. An understanding of online retail would be an advantage.
