About Our Client

My client are an established manufacturer of aesthetically pleasing and functional furniture and accessories.

Established in Scotland by interior designers and architects, their range is elegant and suits both the commercial and high end residential markets alike.

Due to their success in Scotland and internationally, they have recently expanded their operations into the South East with a flagship showroom located in Central London.

With these exciting and ambitious growth plans in mind, they are looking to develop their internal and external sales teams with the addition of talented and entrepreneurial individuals capable of finding and closing profitable business opportunities.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create their own career within the business making their own opportunities for progression as a consequence of their own success.

Job Description

This is a busy, fast-paced role which will require a strong ability to multi-task.

You will be responsible for managing the London Showroom employees, ensuring that employees are happy and motivated - working towards the company's goal to become a household name in London.

You will work towards weekly, monthly and annual financial targets, maximising ROI on the London Showroom investment, through effective P&L management.

Support the external A&D Trade Sales Manager with securing contract sales.

Hosting champagne networking events for architects and interior designers.

Training will be provided so you are competent in product knowledge and have strong market awareness.

My client will ensure you have all the tools required to be a success in this role.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience managing a showroom inclusive of P&L responsibility.
  • Be able to present themselves professionally.
  • Know how to adapt their sales approach dependent on the customer type and personality.
  • Have a passion for interior design.
  • Be competent in organising and hosting champagne events for architects and interior designers.
  • Be an effective and inspirational leader and manager.
  • Be self-motivated with a burning ambition to succeed.
  • Have a proven track record of outstanding sales experience.
  • Have excellent customer focus and take pride in doing a great job.
  • Be committed to excellence and have high standards of integrity.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Be competent using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

What's on Offer

£35,000 - £40,000 depending on background and experience.
