Due to continued growth and excellent year on year results our client is looking to bring on a Site Manager for exciting projects across the Berkshire and North Hampshire area.

Job Description

The Site Manager will have overall responsibility for an individual phase of the site and will liaise closely with the senior team including the Construction Director and other Site Managers to deliver high quality work.

The Site Manager will over see all areas of the build from setting out (including roads and sewers), infrastructure works, groundwork, construction through to completion and handover. They must also organise and prioritise the work of the site team, control and co-ordinate the attendance and number of subcontractors on site, resolve queries, problems and conflicts at site level and hold regular site meetings with subcontractors to monitor and appraise key company objectives.

It will be key to ensure the efficient running of the site and completion of the administration functions. Prepare weekly reports and input stages into the computer system. Ensure variations are recorded, issued and actioned by appropriate subcontractors and suppliers. Advise the Surveyor regarding all sales instructions. Review the monthly build cost report for the site. Liaise with the Surveyor to understand expenditure.

It is likely the Site Manager will be responsible for an Assistant Site Manager, aiding their development and managing their work load.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will most likely;

*Have experience working within house building for a leading house build developer.

*Have a strong track record working on 150 + unit projects.

*Have excellent customer and business communication skills.

*Experience managing an Assistant Site Manager / Foreman would be advantageous.

*You must have 5 years minimum experience of managing medium to large development, along with experience in the management of Health & Safety.

*You must have and update to understanding of the NHBC regulations and experience and a full understanding of UK building regulations and practices.

*You will have strong experience of working closely with customers offering excellent customer care while representing the brand.
