About Our Client

My client is one of the largest housing associations in the country. They are responsible for the maintenance of over 40000 properties nationwide. They have recently won a large refurbishment contract in Greater Manchester and are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the team on an interim basis.

Site Manager - Social Housing

The key duties/responsibilities include:

  • To plan, manage and deliver all construction activities in an efficient and cost effective manner.
  • The ability to demonstrate a positive 'can do' attitude at all times and positively impact the design making aspect of the project
  • To fully understand design / procurement / construction / completion planning, programming and progress reporting.
  • To report openly and honestly at all times and providing solutions to any problems that may arise.
  • To supervise the Assistant Site Manager, sub-contractors and internal staff on a daily basis.
  • Adhering to and ensuring the Health & Safety of the entire site and project.
  • Maintaining quality & safety control procedures.
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.

The Successful Applicant

Site Manager - Social Housing

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience working within Building and Construction on Affordable Housing projects.
  • Have experience in delivering refurbishment projects of at least £1Million in value.
  • Experience managing Assistant Site Mangers and Foreman's would be advantageous.
  • All relevant qualifications and Health & Safety certifications for a Site Manager.
  • Experience of working to CDM regulations
  • Experience of projects that include 'Tanking'

What's on Offer

The successful Site Manager will be located at the company's North West office and will be paid on a weekly basis as an interim employee. You will be expected to be happy to travel across the Greater Manchester region.
