About Our Client

My client is a leading media organization in WA who has invested a significant amount in ensuring they are on the forefront of all leading digital technologies. They have put a large emphasis on all their social channels especially Facebook. They understand the importance of being on top of all the digital and social trends and are looking for a social media specialist to really drive all social strategies within the team.

Job Description

The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading content distribution across all social channels and messaging apps to drive audience. The Social Media Manager will primarily manage Facebook publishing while supporting other social platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, Pinterest and more, while continually experimenting with emerging social platforms and messaging apps. The objective is to be the dominant social publisher in Western Australia and fast establish my client as a leading national social publisher with scale.

The Successful Applicant

The Social Media Manager must have a minimum of five years social publishing experience in a fast-paced publishing environment. The Social Media Manager must be obsessed with how content evolves online and how this content is shared across all social channels, with a particular focus on Facebook. It is essential that you come from a journalism background with extensive knowledge on all current social media trends.
