Job Description

Specifically, this Solvency II Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and up to date knowledge of relevant Europeans Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority technical standards, and liaise directly with external advisors
  • Producing annual and quarterly Solvency II statements in accordance with Prudential Authority requirements
  • Working closely with other members of the Finance Treasury & Investments tea,
  • Assisting in the development and production of new management information reports for reporting to Board sub-committees on Solvency II capital calculations and forecasting's
  • Undertaking Ad Hoc reporting tasks as assigned
  • Ensuring full process descriptions are complete
  • Actively participating in the Finance Better Today Programme

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant for this Solvency II Accountant role will be ACA, ACMA, or ACCA qualified, with an A-Level Mathematics qualifications. Knowledge of Microsoft office products are essential. Good system skills, knowledge of financial investments and recent experience in the financial services industry is desired but not essential.
