Job Description

  • Work closely with senior management to analyse and identify hiring needs, championing promotion from within to fill the recruitment pipeline where possible
  • Articulate and deliver your vision of an environment that attracts the best talent, whilst maintaining a strong culture in which learning and development is highly valued
  • Lead all aspects of recruiting efforts, maintaining brand consistency throughout. To include: organising our summer intern programme, university interaction and participation, scheduling onsite interviews and candidate travel, maintaining our applicant tracking system, interacting with and managing our external recruiters, producing hiring metrics and reports
  • Regular critical assessment of current processes to search for improvements to both candidate experience and employee functionality
  • Devise and implement creative recruitment strategies in both traditional and novel media
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key recruitment agencies
  • Spearhead the companies people agenda across all aspects of the business, creating and maintaining a culture in which coaching, engagement and people development are highly valued

The Successful Applicant

  • Senior HR professional, with experience recruiting top-level talent for the technology / software development sector
  • Able to interact comfortably with senior members of the business to identify budgets for each individual role and ensure that costs for all roles remain in line with the overall strategy
  • Strong interview skills and prior experience in providing a high-quality initial screening of candidates
  • Self-starter with proven leadership skills, able to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of tasks to develop and implement new structures in a growing business
  • Thorough understanding of UK employment law, as well as international relocation issues
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing people development and employee engagement
  • Committed to the development of a friendly, collaborative office culture
  • Undergraduate degree and strong academic background
  • Must have strong academics
