Store Manager Yorkshire

Job Description

  • Ensuring the company's operational standards are maintained at all times; such as cleanliness, freshness, availability, ticketing and good customer service.
  • Management and control of the Store's Key Cost Control Areas (Turnover, Write Offs, Inventory and Productivity) agreed in monthly meetings
  • Conducting monthly Cost Meetings with the Area Manager to address key cost control areas and personnel issues.
  • Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the staff, visitors and customers in our stores.
  • Monitoring all legal obligations in accordance with H&S, alcohol licensing, Trading Law and ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Driving sales in stores and increasing turnover by making full use of promotional tools.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have previously managed a team of 30+ people.
  • Proven talent for meeting and excelling performance targets including turnover, write offs, inventory and productivity.
  • HR related duties including recruiting new employees, delivering training, and managing personnel/payroll tasks.
  • An involvement in merchandising and an understanding of merchandising concepts.
  • Must have managed a turnover HIGHER than £70,000 per week
