Job Description

The Strategic Buyer will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing high press dye-casting, electronic and passive components, PCB's across Europe and Asia.
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Work in collaboration with purchasing team to ensure value of components and reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager.
  • Working cross functionally with Operations and Technical departments.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Strategic Buyer will have:

  • A background in sourcing electronic components for a manufacturer.
  • A strong working knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes.
  • A good understanding of the end to end Supply Chain.
  • Successful experience in negotiating contracts.
  • Ability to manage relationships with suppliers.
  • An understanding of cost effective sourcing
  • A background in Automotive, Manufacturing, Engineering and/or Electronics.

What's on Offer

Negotiable salary: up to £35,000 per annum + Benefits

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
