Job Description

The Programme will also need to introduce new and updated rules to enforce the ring-fence activities. The Project Manager will play an important role in delivering a project within the Programme, reporting into the Programme Manager.

The Structural Reform Project Manager will be responsible for:
* The successful delivery of the full scope of the project including business change management, technology and operational processes,
* Planning and designing the project and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate,
* Estimating, securing and managing the overall project budget and resource profile,
* Developing, presenting and monitoring the overall project plan within the defined governance,
* Preparing highlight reports and reporting progress to the relevant Boards,
* Directing and motivating the project team,
* Managing senior level stakeholders across the Bank as well as third-party contributions to the project,

The Successful Applicant

* A track record of successful delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle, managing budgets in excess of £3mn on complex change initiatives
* Experience of implementing policy / regulatory change, ideally within the Financial Services sector,
* Experience in the business change and technology aspects of large scale change,
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence business decisions at senior management level,
* Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines and priorities,
* Clear communication skills (verbal and written); able to represent project at governance forums or Boards,
* Strong leadership, people management and team building capabilities, with experience of line or matrix management for teams of 10-15 people (approx.),
* Business change management experience gained from successfully managing the organisational, cultural and stakeholder challenges of a transformation project.
