About Our Client
As part of an ongoing project to build and maintain strong working relationships whit my clients supplier base, you will join a new leadership team and ensure good communication and collaboration concerning all vendor related issues.Support the Receipt transformations agenda introducing new ways of working to ensure a smooth implementation of the collection service across the UK and EU supplier base. To maintain and develop monthly vendor performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement targets are met.

*Support the Receipt transformational agenda introducing new ways of working to ensure a smooth implementation of the collection service across the UK and EU supplier base
*To maintain and develop monthly vendor performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement targets are met
*Act as the main interface for Vendor Management issues ensuring effective liaison and alignment with Freight and the MP&L teams. Demonstrate a proactive approach to managing and resolving issues.
*To support the wider UK & EU Freight teams in delivering further value from effective Vendor Management engagement, testing and implementing new inbound procedures.
*Introduce a set of KPI's to monitor the warehouse/ transport performance which enabled us to highlight key areas of under performance. Results to be presented on a monthly basis
*Develop the role to be more proactive to shortages instead of reactive by working closely with production, analysts based at other plants, transport and quality.
*Provided support to the rest of the MP&L department by running daily reports and analysing parts to be sent for counts to eliminate track stoppages.
*Responsible for internal and external supplier relationships. Maintaining MRP, adjusting replenishment parameters and initial integration for new materials.
*Evaluate and improve availability and lead from suppliers. Drive changes for continuous improvement in inventory levels, logistic costs and logistic procedures
