About Our Client
Global aftermarket business based in Coventry.
Ensure the appropriate Purchasing data is set up correctly and process instructions are in place.
Review those processes and make improvements where appropriate
Keep all records up to date and introduce checks for assurance.
Conduct analysis of key information to support the manager and colleagues.
Align suppliers with strategy to ensure lead times , packaging , agreements ,MOQ's and purchase order policies are in place to agreed standards
Regular liaison with internal customers and the external supply base.
Demonstrate positive behaviours supporting the company values
The Successful Applicant
The job holder should be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
The job holder should have the necessary experience of ERP systems
Minimum of two years' experience working in a Supply Chain environment
Able to administer the Procurement and Supply Chain data in relation to cost , OTIF and Quality
Meticulous attention to detail is essential, good organisational and time management skills are also required
Ability to interface professionally with internal and external contacts at all levels. A good team player, as well as self-motivated
Knowledge of transportation and shipping .
