About Our Client

Walsall based Global manufacturing company are seeking a Supply Chain Business analyst to join an established team and provide the primary interface between the Enterprise and the IT teams.

Job Description

Act as the trusted IT partner of the business stream supported.

Provide the primary interface between the Enterprise and the IT teams.

Lead IT activity for a specified business stream by;

 Developing and maintaining strategic IT capability roadmaps.

 Delivering against an account plan with stakeholders.

 Identifying system development opportunities and associated value driven business cases.

 Performing process and workflow analysis.

 Developing systems requirements.

 Developing test strategies, scenarios and scripts.

 Developing training strategies, training materials and delivering training to users.

 Coordinating capability delivery with other Business Analysts and IT teams locally and globally.

 Managing expectations of business stakeholders and sponsors.

 Managing demand for technology requests.

 Act as a change facilitator in enabling successful adoption of solutions.

 Managing the delivery of small IT projects and supporting Project Managers to deliver larger IT Projects in alignment with the Projects Excellence methodology.

 Provision of specification, testing and training deliverables to plan, on time and quality.

 To deliver technology seminars to peers and stakeholders.

 Maintain a funnel of value driven requests above £200k

 Feedback from business leaders and representatives.

 Feedback from global and local IT management team.

 Achievement of agreed annual objectives, as defined through the 1-2-1 process.

 Development of IT solutions of up to £1.5m in value.

 Funnel of requests valued > £200k

 Development of business critical processes and systems.

 Regular interaction with Directors and their reports.

 Responsible for technology identification and implementation across all business disciplines.

 Leading and working across and global teams.

 Working with customers and suppliers.

The Successful Applicant

 Graduate, 2:1 preferred.

 Experience of Agile and Waterfall deployment methodologies.

 Deep experience in: Supply Chain, FMCG, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Logistics, S&OP, Order Fulfilment.

 Experience of both mainframe and cloud based technologies.

 Ability to identify, analyse and present solutions to business problems.

 A positive attitude and a strong desire to align technology with business requirements

 Ability to lead team activities around the specification and testing of solutions for the business

 Ability to self-manage, self-motivate and work as a member of a team in a project environment

 Dynamic, proactive and able to engage with people from all levels of the business

 Willing to challenge existing practices and suggest innovative solutions

What's on Offer

This Walsall based 12 month contract is being offered on a day rate interim basis at £275 - £350 per day
