About Our Client

Our client is multinational company with headquarters in central Europe with manufacturing and sales operations all over the globe. Due to further growth of the company, and a need for more centralized processes we are looking for an experienced candidate for the newly created position of Supply Chain Expert (Cost Management). The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the global cost models, primarily focused on suppliers.

Job Description

  • Actively drive cost programs, starting from supplier's costs.
  • Create cost improvement initiatives across all functions in the Organization.
  • Lead process excellence programs.
  • Manage competition and market intelligence.
  • Improve operations and business processes.
  • Develop and implement efficient cost-tools.
  • Track and sponsor all cost related actions.
  • Set up and execute challenging, individual cost objectives.
  • Lead a healthy, cost focused competition between sites.
  • Maximize effect of synergies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Master's degree, preferably in engineering or business field, MBA or advanced degree desired.
  • Min. 7 years of experience in a global organization within purchasing, sales or operations.
  • Knowledge of hardware manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience in project management.
  • Effective analytical and computer skills (MS Office, ERP).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Preferred mid-level certification (GB) in 6-Sigma of equivalent programs (ACE, JtPE).
  • Ability to speak to all levels of the organization globally and effectively communicate with suppliers and customers.
  • Fluent in English.
