About Our Client

Large Multi-National Engineering Organisation based in Yorkshire

Job Description

As the Supply Chain Manager for this multi-national manufacturing and production organisation based in Yorkshire you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the Supply Chain Functions to achieve all required Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Oversee the co-ordination of activities from customer schedules, from procurement through to finished goods
  • Customer & Supplier facing - Customers and suppliers communicating delivery/non delivery performance working with the Purchasing team when necessary
  • Develop production and material scheduling functions
  • Management of all inventory ensuring sufficient stocks on site to enable an uninterrupted flow of production
  • Continual improvement of stock control
  • Full accountability of all material management guidelines and processes - including line-side feed process improvements

The Successful Applicant

The successful Supply Chain Manager with this manufacturing and production organisation will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Supply Chain Improvement processes
  • OE - customer facing
  • Engineering background - Aerospace, Auto etc.
