Job Description

The role of Supply Chain Manager for a Manufacturing Business will oversee the following:

  • Responsibility for all supply planning processes
  • Delivering targeted customer service levels
  • Optimising inventory levels and manufacturing efficiencies
  • Promoting continuous improvement, development and implementation of best practice across management and supply chain planning processes and systems
  • Suggesting and implementing planning rules/approaches and inventory management rules, monitor impact and confirm success or adjust to optimise
  • Support the S&OP process delivering relevant information and analysis to enable a review of all relevant demand and supply issues

The Successful Applicant

Ideally, the candidate will have the following background:

  • Educated to degree level within Supply Chain, Logistics
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of executing supply planning and production scheduling processes
  • Experienced in advanced supply planning and production scheduling systems integrated with an ERP system, experience with Oracle would be advantageous
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
