Job Description

General day to day duties include:

- Site Visits

- Preparation of detailed specifications, including drawings

- Preparation of contract documentation, including legal and H&S requirements

- Preparation of feasibility studies

- Drafting programmes and cost profiles of repairs and minor works

- Pre-and post inspection of works

- Consultation with residents

- Issue of and agreement of instructions and variations

- To prepare documentation for Part Wall Awards

- Maintain and update the Asbestos register and liaise with specialist surveyors and contractors in accordance with current legislation

- Monitor, appraise and report regularly on contractors performance and recommend corrective action where necessary

- To communicate and co-operate effectively with local housing teams, technical services team, Major Works/Project Management teams and other departments

The Successful Applicant

Knowledge of:

- Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005

- Health & Safety Legislation's

- The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015

- The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 & Associated HSE Guidelines

- Party Wall etc Act 1996

- Local Authority Planning Legislation

What's on Offer

Full time (37 hours per week)

Start date ASAP

3 month contract with the view to a permanent position

Office and all properties based within East London
